In today’s post, I want to share our favorite places near the Eiffel Tower to grab a croissant and a coffee. Since we’re often around the Eiffel Tower, we’ve had plenty of time to try out lots of coffee spots, and these are our top picks!
Carette
The first one is the most famous, yet we’ve met people who don’t know about it: Carette. This fine restaurant is renowned for its chocolat chaud with cream (an absolute must if it’s your first time in Paris). While it’s a very touristy spot, it’s worth the visit.
The vibe here is quintessentially Parisian, as it’s a classic brasserie where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Located just behind Place du Trocadéro, it’s the perfect spot to savor a croissant and capture that iconic photo at a French restaurant.

Terres de café
The second one is Terres de Café, a spot that specializes in exceptional coffee. As coffee addicts, we absolutely love this place and totally approve! They offer coffee from all over the world, as well as tea and delicious desserts like banana cake and brownies.
The vibe here is more relaxed—it feels like the cool neighborhood coffee shop. You’ll find a mix of tourists and locals enjoying the space. Although it’s not very large and can sometimes get full, it’s definitely worth the visit.

Noir Coffee Shop
This coffee shop is located right next to Avenue de Camoëns, making it a perfect stop after admiring the stunning Eiffel Tower view. It’s an ideal place to enjoy a coffee and some pastries. Like the previous spot, they also serve specialized coffee and have several locations around the city.
The vibe here is more relaxed, and the area feels a bit “hidden” from the typical tourist crowds, which makes it quieter than other spots. It’s a great place to unwind before heading to your next destination.
1 Rue de Passy, 75016 Paris
Boulangerie Malineau
This is a local bakery with a view of the Eiffel Tower, where you can grab a croissant and coffee to go. If you choose to sit here, you’ll have a direct view of the Eiffel Tower.
Just a note: this spot is more of a bakery than a restaurant or coffee shop, so there’s only one table. However, it’s perfect for taking a quick break to enjoy a coffee and a classic croissant while planning your next destination.
